Low Volume Production Requirements
3/8" I.D. Hose
For relatively low volume production needs the steps illustrated on page 4 may be followed except for the use of a variable speed screw driver with a 5/16" hex bit for step no. 5.
CAUTION: Use very low speed only, and turn only until barb is flush with fitting.
For a hand operated hose assembly fixture to handle 3/8" and 1/2" hose call office for part number HA300.
High Volume Production Requirements
For relatively high production needs we offer an air operated assembly machine, part Number HA100, for both the 3/8" I.D. and 1/2" I.D. hose assemblies - use pre-assembled fittings as follows:

To order pre-coated pipe threads, add
prefix "P" to part number.
When using with gladhands, add the
suffix "B" to the part number to specify
a brass barb.

A pull test fixture is suggested to verify compliance with the pull force requirements.
